My husband has started having problems with swallowing, coughing and sneezing when eating. Any suggested remedies?

Great advise. I have to do all soft or very small cut up pieces of meat. Putting too much in mouth at once is also a problem. Give him salad fork instead of dinner fork helps some. Going to try to find child size fork that looks like regular . I know Oneida used to make them

I have started using a potato masher for my moms vegetables and things not so easy to cut. Boost in the freezer for a short time tastes better also . The thickener for liquids does not always appeal to the older adults. Go online their is a drink Boost breeze that is delicious. You can freeze it if you need to make it thicker and the slightly thaw.
