Mom has just been prescribed Trazadone for both sleep and paranoia. At what time in the evening is the best time to give. Also, how drowsy does this med make them? Will she now be able to sleep through the night? Do I have to worry about her having accidents in bed, although she hasn‘t had those problems yet. We give mom hers at 10 pm. Most of the time she starts getting tired after 20. Her neurologist said to give her it 1 hour before “bedtime”.
As far as getting up, I don’t think she will. It really helps them sleep. We have also noticed that the paranoia is MUCH better, as well as her MOOD swings.
