Favorite Fidget Toy?
A myALZteam Member asked a question 💭

Dad loved to stay active. Now that he is wheelchair bound with little strength, he still moves his legs like he wants to get the wheel chair to move, but he can't manage and I think it is frustrating for him. I'm trying to come up with good fidget toys to see if keeping his hands busy will help. I've researched online but I'm concerned about quality and having the toys break. Most have small pieces and I don't want Dad to break them off and then think they are food. Ideas?

I made some little fidget lap blankets but used things that couldn't be choked on -- Pocket cut off a pair of blue jeans, little stuffed toy, zippers, fuzzy fabric, etc. A good place to look for ideas is Etsy or Pinterest.

I like the plumbing parts idea. Dad used to build -- in fact, he built the house he was last living in and mine. And he did all the plumbing. Maybe this would bring up a memory or two, too. Rubix Cube is a great idea, too. Pretty sure we even have one somewhere. :-) thanks for the ideas @A myALZteam Member
