Has anyone had difficulty from a financial advisor? My husband is still able to make overall decisions, but his financial advisor refused to change a beneficiary form for 6 weeks for him after he spoke to an attorney and changed his will, etc. The financial advisor has overstepped in the past in my opinion and then reported possible fraud on his account because I was involved in a phone conversation (I have POA). Let us know how it goes. Financial POA is a huge responsibility. A good ethical FA
Should be thankful you have accepted this thankless job.
Also research your advisor before you give him a dime. I’m the eyes of the law YOU will be responsible for any issues related to your fiduciary action/inaction.
