Sorry, wasn’t finished! He was a Marine helicopter in Vietnam! He was a career officer and I loved the life very much! Would like to find a team member who experienced the same. Also, before my husband was diagnosed, I had spent the last ten years taking short trips with my friends (with husband’s consent) to follow our favorite band and go to concerts. Among many things I sacrificed was not going any longer! Our trips were so fun, sometimes hysterical and we had a blast rooming together! Now all I have is the memories! Anyone on here who has enjoyed the same trips with girlfriends?
Thank you so much! God bless you every day!
Yes my husband was in the army and spent a year in Vietnam. He talks about what he did there and always notices a fellow veteran when we are out if they have any identifying hat on.
My father was an x POW, my mother has Alzheimer’s and lives with us. My husband is retired AF.
My wife was in the Army, served 1969-1972 in Landstuhl, Germany...personel specialist..handled paperwork for service men and women coming in and returning to the states..it is also a major military hospital.
