My Husband's Hands Have Started Trembling And His Legs Are Shaking. He Is Having Difficulty Moving Them
Hi, Betty. Tremors are fairly common. That you have noticed hands and legs starting at the same time is something I haven’t come across before and makes me wonder if Bob might have a nutrition deficiency or blood chemistry imbalance. Loss of mobility is certainly a game changer and I think it may be worth getting some tests to see if something other than Bob’s dementia is causing this. Hugs. S.
Jim had a problem with this a while back and his neurologist reviewed his meds and discovered one that with another one he was taking was cause had that doctor change to different med and took care of it. Might want to check blood pressure and sugar levels also.
My husband is being followed for Parkinsons, too. His hands sometimes shake and his walking gait is indicative of it but so far they think it is stroke and dementia related.
Have you had his thyroid checked? Years ago my legs began to shake and it proved to be a thyroid issue. Just one more possibility. Good luck!
Thanks everyone. I did take him to Dr last week and as usual he didn't show but very little signs. Dr did say it could be beginning of Parkinson's but I feel it is connected to his ALZ. I do give him several supplements and try to give him a well balanced meal and protein shakes.
Thanks everyone.
