WebMD has an interesting article re oligimannate (? derived from seaweed and acts on gut bacteria) but this drug has not had the usual drug trials, peer reviews etc necessary for it to even be considered by FDA. It also seems to act similar to other well studied well tested Alz meds already approved and available.

Thanks for the more up to date info Larre..I found an article from Wraltechwire (a tech news publication from North Carolina) as well. Hopefully Alz Ass'n will do regular updates re those drug trials.

I talked to woman from the Alzheimers Association, she told me about the trial. I will definetly read that article thank you for the info. Please share any more you find.
