What About CBD Oil?
A myALZteam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone tried CBD oil? I've had someone try to convince me she knows someone who made a miraculous turn around. (not cure, but improvement) I know it's reaching, but just curious if anyone has tried it, and what were the results.

thanks,
Sonia

Hello. I just recently embarked on CBD Oil, Full Spectrum, for myself. After consulting with the CBD expert, he stated that he has many clients that are using the product whom have Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. He has stated that it has helped with Sundown-ing. I have tried it on myself first and have clearance from Doctor to try with my Dad. They say it has had mixed reviews only because not all Alzheimer’s patients present the same. I can circle back and let you know how things go if you would like. Blessings 💜

My wife has anxiety every evening and I give her 20 drops of CBD oil THC free at 5:30 PM. This settles her down and by 8 pm she is ready for bed. She gets a good night s rest and I do to.

I have been giving my wife concentrated Hemp extract (full spectrum) 15+ mg per capsule for about 3 months now, and have had no noticeable side effects and seems to at least seems to provide a calming effect. She gets one in the morning and one just before bed.

Check out the Harvard Health program. Also check CBD Oil on Safari. It’s a derivative of hemp and has several possible uses and problems. Several states have passed medical marijuana laws allowing substances to be medically prescribed. It may be a good alternative for opioids which I have a very negative attitude about.
