My mom was taken off Donopenzil in December as they felt it was not working. She has now deteriorated so badly. I gather she can not be put back onto it as it could lengthen the process where she is now.

Hi Jill, I hope this helps. My husband’s neurologist prescribed Seroquel and Risperidone to help combat problem’s with depression, anxiety, stress, paranoia, agitation and hallucinations. The drugs have considerably helped lessen the frequency and severity of his sundowning episodes.

Evelyn Dubree ask your husbands doctor/neurologist for the proper dosage. My husband takes Risperidone once a day and Seroquel twice a day a.m. and p.m.
