My mom eats two well balanced meals each day and they are sizeable portions. She started sleeping until after noon over the past several weeks....so break is off the table. She has also been on several rounds of antibiotics for a severe UTI. Abdominal scans are all fine. Somewhat constipated. Also has a bad cold for 2 weeks. This has all occurred over the past 8 weeks. Hi my mum in law seems to b losing weight too and though she has lost her appetite we still manage to get 2 high calorie meals into her yet she all bones.She has also been taken off her bp meds as bp was low ...She just wants to be left alone to sleep but once up energy levels r sufficiant for her to shout and scream for hrs she has become antisocial hates visitors and is aggressive and verbally abusive to carers and my husband and I

@A myALZteam Member Constipation can be due to not drinking enough water , not enough fiber, and lack of exercise. There are fiber pills they can take, or even a bit of laxitive (oral of suppository). You don't want it all impacted. Blood Pressure usually starts to drop around mid-80s.... it happens naturally, but if too low may have to have meds adjusted. Hope this helps.
