Yes, my mom doing for awhile now....I cleaning piles of Kleenex every morning. I learned finally to tell her I gave her pill to help with that cough and I'll be darned she quit coughing....so when she starts that I tell her that and she quits. If we all aren't as nutty as fruitcakes after all this is said and done, it will be a MIRACLE... And I believe in MIRACLES!!!! THIS IS HARD, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else???? Confused too

Thanks....only happens occasionally. I think the dementia makes him feel that it is worse than it is

Sounds like he may have a stricture? May need to see your doctor and ask about a swallow evaluation or upper GI
