Yes. Unfortunately. My MIL became fearful of falling so didn't like to go out;she fell down the Escalator and this thought got stuck in her head as her illness progressed. If you can, get the Physiotherapist to visit to help give her confidence. The longer she stays mobile the better it is for all. If she is too weak then she will become bed-bound and ultimately doubly incontinent. This is exactly our situation. Big hugs. Its not easy.
