How Do You Adjust To This?

Question

Today my husband was off and said that my mother didn't wake up until about 10:30. She was angry when she got up because she said I didn't wake her before I left for work. I told him she just forgot I woke her up and told her it was ok for her to stay in bed, because I had to be into work really early this morning. I am not angry or upset that she forgot that I woke her, just not sure why she needs me to wake her. She didn't used to be this way. If I don't wake her she gets angry and calls me to tell me about it too. I just miss my mom. I am still trying to adjust to our new normal. She was diagnosed in 2014, but she is definitely progressed some. I am trying my best to care for her and I sometimes feel like I am failing miserably. Is this normal to have these feelings? Please any advice would be greatly appreciated. She is also very aware that she is not remembering things and she gets angry about it. Is this also normal? How can I help her to adjust?

How about a visual recording Of you saying That you were going to work on a cell phone that she can replay.

My mom would always say wake me at 11. I told her that I would if I was already awake.
