Exactly, I had a hard time getting my mom to eat. Eating anything was better than nothing.
When I made her milkshakes I would add ensure.l

My mother is pretty much in a rut as well for her meals. She can still live alone with my sisters coming in and out during the day. Months ago she could fix her own breakfast toast in toaster oven and scramble an egg and microwave a piece of fully cooked sausage. Now she unsually just does toast and jelly unless one of us is there or brings her a biscuit from Hardee's. she can't remember how with the sausage and egg. About six weeks ago we started Meals on Wheels where a hot meal is delivered around noon. This has really been a great help. She eats most of what they bring and the variety is so much more than she was doing for herself. She eats more fruits and vegetables. Then at least we know she is getting something substantial. Then for supper she either eats a sandwich and chips or my sister or I bring something in or prepare it at her house.

All my husband would when he was still at home was lasagna. Luckily we lived close to Dominos pizza

Totally what is happening with my mom. She's at 95 lbs. if I don't ask and just make something then she only eats potato chips or cereal or donuts. This disease is crazy. God bless you too. Thx
