My Mum Has A Fungal Infection On The Inside Of Her Legs, Which Feels On Fire. Anyone Come Across This Please.

I don't know if anyone has gotten back with you, but the hot to touch usually means fever, infection, this can get into her blood and become a blood infection, she needs to be seen by a doc, asap....staph infection can set in, it's a emergency waiting to happen ! Hope this helps you, good luck !

i had that for 10 years before I got insurance and could go to the doctor. It was a type of staph infection. An antibiotic and then creme for months cleared it up. I kept putting the creme on longer just because I didn't want it to come back.

Ask her GP to have a look she may need a short course of cortisone cream.

Yes my mother had that also. The nursing home called doctor and it was some type of cream they administered. A lot of residents had this.
