Thanks Connie. She's 54 with early onset and the meds they put her on seem to be making her more anxious. It's like you can't win for losing. I've started having anxiety when it's my day to take care of her and then I feel bad for that. It's like a constant guilt trip :(

Thank you so much for that Brandi. As a carer, I felt hearing how you feel gave me insight, much more than trying to guess how to help anxiety in my hubby. I hoped I was right by just being there & calming him & your last comment confirmed that for me, he hates taking drugs . Bless you for sharing & may you find always strength (as you have) to live life to the fullest, you are an inspiration.

I have early onset and I can say it is very scary when I have absolutely no memory of something my family says just happened. My day to day seems to be more like hour to hour. I just am reminded of what i have and move on. I think anxiety is coming from fear. Doesn't need a xanax , just someone to be there with me.

The only thing they could find to calm her is Lithium, which is a very powerful drug. It's very frustrating but we would rather have her calm than fighting with us and bouncing off the walls and angry and not able to sit down because of the anxiety.
