My Mom Is Having A Hard Time Sleeping At Night!!
My Mom doesn't stay asleep at night. She is awake more than she is asleep....she seems content to stay in bed, but I never know when she may decide to get up and start wandering. Then she wants to sleep the next day, won't eat, doesn't want to dress and is very hateful!! I try not to let her sleep the next day, except for short naps here and there....but that makes her harder to get along with!! Is anyone else having this same problem? Any ideas on what I might be able to do? Her doctor won't… read more
Getting certified in your state by a Cannabis Doctor and getting CBD oil at a dispensary only (not at a store or online) for day doses and CBD oil for night has changed our lives! His quality of life has improved so much for no agitation, anxiety, and he sleeps all night!
I don't believe any medication works, maybe a late snack to help or a glass of wine to relax them, I'd try anything if it helps, God bless you for even trying and trying, I think a lot of folks get dumped in places, I don't care to mention!!!
I am a live in caregiver, and that used to be a big challenge for me before, because the old lady i am lookingvafter don’t sleep at night then cranky the following day, At first, I thought if I keep her up the whole dayvshell sleep better at night, but that didn’t happe, it just made it worse because she wanys to go home or wander around the house. Then I start to let her have a nap every afternoon, the longer nap the better for her. Because she is rested fully and makes her mind clear, so I made it a routine for her everyday to have at least 2 hours nap, she had a good sleep every night since then,.
I hope this might help. Good luck to all of us.
The meds prescribed was memor 10mg 1at night time. Plus Dopaquel 25, 2 @ night time. I hope this helps. We used to be up all night with the alarm going off as she roamed the house, but nowedays its much better. All mylove to you!
My Mom would freak if she didn't have a light on in her room! She cannot handle the dark. As far as coffee....she asks for it, but seldom drinks more than a sip. She has no caffeine other than that. I try to take her out for a couple of short walks each day.....nothing seems to help. If she has one good night of sleep...you can bet that she'll have three nights of no sleep. I am exhausted!!
