There is some evidence the the oil is helpful.

Use it for my husband and it helps with agitation and mood. He is calm and happy when he has used it. I am trying to see if the oil will help because the Salk Institute is researching this to see if it will remove the plaque. I feel this route is better than using pharmaceuticals because of all the side effects.

No I havent used it for mum (I used to ..back in the day haha) I have thought about it and think it would help to relax and sleep well but then, I am reticent as one never knows.
Its an interesting question and will be looking to see if anyone has tried it and the results but guess it would be the same as all things with alz.....everyone is different.
