Since the onset of his ALZ, my husband has steadily lost weight. He has not appetite at all. I am sure others have experienced this with loved ones. Please let me know if any of you have found any solutions, smoothies, or other large calorie aids. Thanks and have a good day.

I have the same issues with my father. There are days when he will not eat. I make sure he has ensure and he will drink that. There is only a few foods that he will eat so I make sure I give him what he likes. At least he is getting something in his stomach.

A lot of people have mentioned Ensure, etc., but someone also mentioned to me, Milkshakes are usually pretty high-calorie, so I may very well try that....just find their favorite flavor.
