My mother has become Incontinent but refuses to wear incontinence pads or pullups. How do we get her to co-operate?

My Matt used to take his off so I ordered the washable ones!!They hold a lot ,look like real underwater and are washable!!A also,check how much they hold!(ounces)they are not cheap but,they worked!!πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡

Great idea. Those new "period" panties would be ideal. I would even wear some myself to be in solidarity. We are careful with our language around my dad. The cane is a "walking stick" and we are "helpers." I find myself doing and saying things at a child level. So far so good.

we started calling the pull ups underwear and we would put her regular underwear over them. she is now ok with just the pull ups

I refer to them as comfy panties. I am careful never to say diaper, pull-ups, depends, or anything like that.
And she now lives in her apartment, not a memory care.
