I am not sure how helpful or possible it is to know what stage. There are not definitive markers as everyday is different and every person is different. I just go with what help I see my RAC needs at any given time and go with the flow. Probably none of us really know exactly when the disease began unless there was a medical crisis like a stroke and, again, it really is of little importance in the scheme of things. The diseases move at their own pace and everyone is different. That said, the info Teepa provides is a huge help as things change.

There are 7 stages, you can find the descriptions on the Alzheimer's site. Another good one is "Teepa Snow's" videos on YouTube which describe the stages as different gems. Very interesting to watch.
