My mum actually says I want to kill her, by putting her in the bath. Mostly it is upsetting, but other times it is funny.

I got mom a bath chair as she is afraid to get down in the tub she can't figure out how to get out so we shower her in the morning I put terrycloth towel housecoat and towels in the drier taking them put when I stop the water so she feels pampered

I get my mom's bath water prepared and then I tell her that her nice, warm bubble bath is ready. She loves it!

Good idea! The first time we had a caregiver come in to give Mum a bath Mum flatly refused and the caregiver said "C'mon now, we had so much fun the last time!" And mum followed her right in! We knew she was in good hands. Makes all the difference!

Well, our new caregiver is fantastic:-) she gets my mom to shower nearly everyday. With that my mom's much happier too.
However, now if I could get the caregiver to do stuff like sweep the floors or vacuum, but I guess it's ok since mom is happy.
