hi all, I have power of attorney for my Mum but is it better to have guardianship.

Mum no longer has capacity for decision making. I have heard guardianship is better. Does anyone know in NSW Australia as different states have different rules (unbelievable) Also just what is the difference between the two. Many thanks.

I have no idea about the laws in Australia, but I know here in Arkansas in the USA, I have found Guardianship gives you more power than a POA or DPOA. Google Guardianship versus POA. It should answer your questions.
