She already takes Seroquel and Namenda in the early evening.

My mom is not on any Alz meds. She does take Sertraline (Zoloft) for depression and anxiety. She does get scared some nights and will constantly check doors and windows. I think it all comes with the territory.

Thank you for your reply Monica. I especially like your advice about medication "sprinkles". Mom is still okay with taking her meds, but it is good to know this for the future. Stay Strong!

You will make it Joan. Yes, it is a long road...and not a straight road. There will be good days along with the bad days. Try to relax and enjoy the good days.

Yes, @A myALZteam Member, physical touch is good but then one time she told me to stop "petting her, she was NOT a dog!". That one made me laugh for sure!

I have also found that I do for her what she used to do to comfort me. I hug her and rub her back, and reassure her that everything will be okay. Sometimes just holding her hand helps as well.
