My wife has been giagnosed with early dementia and is taking exelon.
She sleeps over 16 hours a day and I am wondering is this is related to the meds.

I’m constantly having to leave work due to her calling an ambulance or doctors appointments...now we won’t get a vacation this year because I’ll have no leave. I also need back surgery that I put off last year. Any advice?

Every conversation with neighbours all summer, and on his walks he would say’ winter is coming’, even in the heat of summer.Now the ground is covered with snow and it is -30 outside and he looks out and says ’ signs of spring’!!! !

How Do I Deal With My Mum's False Beliefs?
I'm really struggling to deal with my mum's false beliefs, that my nephew, (her grandson) is constantly coming in her house, she believes he has a key cut, that he brings his friends in and eats all her food, she is terrified he is going to steal her cat, she barricades her doors and gets really angry when you try and tell her he has not been in the house, I'm at a loss as to what to say to her, if I agree with her I feel like I'm feeding her paranoia and if I disagree she gets really angry… read more

My mom eats two well balanced meals each day and they are sizeable portions. She started sleeping until after noon over the past several weeks....so break is off the table. She has also been on several rounds of antibiotics for a severe UTI. Abdominal scans are all fine. Somewhat constipated. Also has a bad cold for 2 weeks. This has all occurred over the past 8 weeks. Mom's been in care for 1.5 years; Dad nearly a year. Moved them in June because of substandard care; now Dad has fallen at least 10-12 times in a week and Mom in the hospital for a concussion from her second fall.
