My husband sees people,floors and ceiling with holes. Hallucinating is a big part of Alzheimer's.
How do I approach asking my dad to shower, to be cleaner.? He is not changing his clothes often enough as well. My mom is his main caregiver, and this is so stressful for her.
My husband is the same. After much bribing with food or cigarettes I can get him showered and in clean clothes at least 2-3 times a week.
that stinks. does the doc have other ideas?
He won’t change into his pajamas and I think this is contributing to sleep/wandering issues at night. Any suggestions as to how to convince him to wear something comfortable to sleep in?

My mom does not recognize the toilet for what it is and will not sit on it.
May be time for a commode to use bedside!
