Can A Early Alzheimers Patient Experience Changes At A Faster Pace?
A myALZteam Member asked a question 💭

It's just the past week that my husband has been having new changes taking place. Is this to be expected? Trouble with time, taking meds, etc. He had been doing so well until suddenly these changes are excellerating.

My husband isn't loud, but being a former pastor, can go on & on when he answers a question. But our friends know just how to deflect him & get back on target. I used to get so nervous & upset, but just let it go now. Everyone knows what he is going thru.

I thought my husband was joking when he said he didn’t know where we were going. I had told him several days we were going to see our grandson play soccer at a city an hour and a half away. He lives 7 hours away so this was great that we could go see a game close by. My husband played a guessing game with me on the way to the soccer field. He really couldn’t remember that we were going. He didn’t know who we were going to see or anything. It is so sad.

Anyone else deal with a person that has a loud mouth at social gatherings to where I really don't want to accompany him any more.

Yes, Wendy. It may change slowly, speed up, and then slow down again. With everyone it can be different.

Every day is different than the one before. Sometimes better and sometimes worse.
