Today I brought a picture book. I took photo's of flowers - all different kinds - and had her go through the photo book. She loved it. Picked it up several more times to look at the pics. I had two - the second one was of Sunflowers. Pics from a Sunflower farm I went to two years in a row. She loved that pic book too! Does anyone have any other ideas? This one was good so I wanted to share. Oh I will add just a couple of pics. Thanks.

Keeping my husband entertained is a challenge. Listening to music he likes is what I go to most often. Keepingbusy.com has some good jigsaw puzzles for Alzheimer’s but are expensive and he needs help. I have tried modeling clay. My sister bought him books on birds, dogs and church architecture. He likes the Backyard Birds magazine. But what helps the most is having visitors.

We hit a balloon back and forth several times a day. My husband smiles when doing this. It gives us some exercise as well.

Annie, I had some success with my wife using large piece jig saw puzzles (12 pieces) and with “nerf bowling” on the kitchen floor (beware, you will be the pinsetter). Good luck.
