Hi Robert, a great place to get start getting answers to your question is to get in touch with your county-level agency on aging. They should be able to send you in the right direction - there are some states that have programs to pay family members, but most don’t, and the programs that do exist are usually connected to financial status. They also should be able to help you get in touch with a Medicaid advisor who can help you get the paperwork processed.
