I have not started up the 3 hour a week respite care again yet. Im kind of scared to do it, with the Virus. Mom in law is in stage 6, somewhere.

I miss my 4hour break. 10 am until 2 pm. Her Gathering Place has been shut down since March. Go away Corona Virus Not sure if she even remembers going there 4 day a week.

Do you have a consistent caregiver? Would she/he wear a mask? How many other clients does she/he work with? If answers to those questions aren’t deal breakers, I sure would try. We need to learn to live with our new normal but hand washing and social distancing in public is what I focus on.
That 3 hours respite is important for both of you I imagine, especially if your loved one likes the new face to socialize with too?
