My sister's neurologist prescribed Seraquel (Quitiaphine is generic) 25 mg, 1@ bedtime. Helped significantly with nights for awhile now. I agree that nothing helps for a long time. However there are higher dosages of this med as thing s progress??? Hate all the meds she is taking.
I am worthless when sleep deprived.😢

Our neurologist prescribed Remeron also called Mirtazapine. Has helped a lot.

My husband is taking Zoloft every day plus Seroquel in the evening. Together these meds keep him calmer and sleeps somewhat better. As Lisa said nothing works 100%.

Unfortunately that is a classic symptom of Alzheimer’s. My aunt was doing the same thing and her doctor prescribed Resperdone liquid. I put it in her oj. It worked pretty good although nothing works 100%. At least not what I found. She is well past that now and is completely bed bound. She has to be feed and changed just like a baby. She’s been like this since she had several falls a couple months ago. I now have her on Hospice. I found with this disease, nothing stays the same for very long. Good luck.
