Clubs For People To Attend
A myALZteam Member asked a question 💭

Hello,
Just a quick question, My mother has Alzheimer’s and is enjoying attending a club once a week in Shard End. The current cost has now gone up to 48 pounds a day. On top of this she has to pay for transport which is also going up. She lives in the YARDLEY area, does anyone know of anywhere that she could access that is a little cheaper.

Kind Regards
Jane Kigonya-Ugbo

Hi, Jane. It may be worth contacting adult social care. I know programmes vary by area but here ASC make available funds for carers to buy respite time.

Might they have a scholarship program? A number of the programs I’ve looked at in the US do.
