My mother is 89 years old and became severely dimensional about 4 years ago after a fall and a failed hip replacement. She is wheelchair bound and hurt herself several times ( broken ribs, open wounds on her eyebrows and face and bruises all over her body) by getting out of the wheelchair in seconds in her family’s presence to pick up the dirty cups for washing or trying to tidy the room

Did you see my post about a 500mg Tylenol for sundowning give it at 3 in the afternoon I thought the doctor was crazy when he suggested that but it has helped us immensely!

Hav u had her checked for a urinary track infection? Perhaps she is having pain somewhere. I would hav her blood checked. She may need yo try a different med as ive read that some of the meds they giv people make them more agitated and hallucinate more...

I have no advice to offer, I just wanted to say that sounds so incredibly challenging. What a back breaker and a heartbreaker! I'm sure "this too shall pass" but oh my gosh...not soon enough, huh? Hang in there!
