Complaints Of Cold And Wet Shoulders
A myALZteam Member asked a question 💭

Is this a symptom of dementia/Alzheimer's? My Aunt (82) has been complaining of this for about a year. It's been mentioned at doctor's visits but no specific reason as to why it is occurring or how to stop it. I just thought possibly nerve related and potentially caused by plaque in the brain. Best thing so far is for her to keep a prayer shawl over her shoulders when she's experiencing the feeling. Just thought others may have possibly experienced the same. Thanks for any input.

Changes in sensation can be nerve pressure related but it would more likely be arm and hand as well....not likely Alz related but warmth of shawl sounds like it helps.
