I paid $200 for an hour consusltation with an ellder attorney. He said he coudl get my husband on medi-cal so I could put him in a care facility when needed. When we met he said the only way they could do that was if he was in a hospital first. He has nothing. I own our home and car and i have small investments

Invest a small amount of money in a visit with an elder law attorney. Take a few fays to write down questions to ask. Quiz other family members for questions as well as friends and pastor. Social security, and hospice.
