Both My Parents Live With Me And My Husband My Dad Has Alzheimer’s Mid To Late Stage I Work Full Time And At Times I Just Can’t Do It
A myALZteam Member asked a question 💭

Dad goes to an adult care 5 days a week which it’s great for mom she can rest but it still super hard for me and my husband
When dad comes home he’s all singing non stop all evening and all night he does this 3/4 nights a week . Nothing helps we’ve tried everything, I work full time and at times I just want to leave and go away. Anyone in the same situation?

My Pops has no problem knocking on my or my daughter's door at 1 - 2 - even 3 am just to remind me to lock my window. Then he goes to sleep leaving me awake. Although I may curse at him under my breath when he leaves, I think about how my life would be without him and how I'll wish for that 3am knock when he's gone.😢 My daughter purchased some very soft and soundproof earplugs, she says they work wonders!
