Memory Care Licenses
A myALZteam Member asked a question 💭

I am moving my mom to a brand new memory care assisted living facility and they have a standard license. They dont have ECC or LNS license which are more advanced Licenses. She will have to move if she cant stand or pivot and they dont have a license for pureed food. They said that hospice can come in and help and keep her at this facility. It is called Allegro in Winter Park. It is a beautiful and very professional place and not cheap at $6k/month.

Thanks Charlotte. They are expensive. I am trying to find out if they are all licensed the same.

All facilities equipped to care for Alzheimers aren’t cheap. Problems is, you rarely find one that’s worth your money.
