I'm not surprised, I'm on this medication for my depression, and I think it was my saving grace. For my mom, lexapro didn't help. It seems after a while nothing helped. I'm happy this is working for him.

It goes by this name in Canada. Our Doctor prescribed Citalopram and Trazadone and hubby sleeps all night. At first it seemed like he was more relaxed during the day , but didn't last for long. What works for one , might not work for another.

Hi my Dad was also put in this medication after a fast onset of a total emotional and physical shutdown. We thought he'd never come out of it. It was caused by severe anxiety and this drug brought him back after 3 months. He's still on one a day to maintain.

Thank you for sharing Lynn. We have not had to deal with depression yet, but sleeping at night was horrible. My hubby is also on Trazadone at night and sleeps through the entire night as well.
