I have been diagnosed with early onset Dementia/Alzheimer's.I have tried Namenda XR ( 1 titration pack plus 3 refills). Neuro told me to stay on it for 3 months.$600 for a 3 month supply. Complained about pain behind the knee. Switched to Aricept 2x daily, and while I loved how I felt on it, same knee problems.Restarted with titration Namenda and started generic. I am on the patch (Rivastigmine). I had knee surgury in high school. Other than arthritis from that surgury at age 16. I have not had any additional physical pain on the patch. Best of luck to you!
