I am having a huge problem getting my doctor to tell me what stage my husband is in, he says that he still regards it as stage one despite him showing quite a lot of stage two symptoms.
Does it really matter what the stage actually is? You have to deal with what you have to deal with, sadly. Putting a label on it doesn't really change the reality of you're situation. Please be good to yourself. It's a tough job we have!!
There are usually 7 stages of the ilness and some stages can overlap. You can be in ont stage but are showing some signs of being in the next stage as well. If you go on the internet you can look up the 7 stages of the illness
Hi there, because you see the person more then his doctor I would say you are in a better position to know what he is like. some doctors are not up on the stages of the illness and thats why I said to look up the seven stages of the illness. My mom lives with myself and husband and she is in the 5th stage and showing some of the 6 stage now. . I feel that after you read up on the illness you will better have an understanding of whats happening to your loved one. Take care and have a good day
Not silly at all. At first I did the same thing until I realized a label or a stage really doesn't affect treatment or outcome. Now, just one less thing to stress about! Stay strong.
