Oh my, I'm pretty sure Haldol would not be a good option for someone with dementia. We have to be very careful as antipsychotics are risky business with anyone who is older, especially if they have dementia.

I dont know about dementia but I have Tourettes tics (increased when I am tired, anxious, stressed or going through trauma). I was given haloperidol but did not like the tight cramps in the thighs it gave me. Not sure about thyroid meds because I wasnt on thyroxine til way after the time I stopped the haloperidol.

Can what be used with thyroid meds?
